This event was part of the Beacons for Innovation program carried out by the Creative Industries Knowledge Transfer Network that explores the opportunities and challenges faced by the creative industries in relations to technology focused innovation.
The workshop focus was on trying to identify challenges, opportunities and ways in which creative businesses and their associated industries can take advantage of new markets.
On Wednesday last week, Robert and myself attended the "Maximising our digital and creative industries" event in Edinburgh. The delegate list included a wide range of individuals from a variety of organisations and educational institutions including Scottish Enterprise, Channel 4, NESTA, Scottish Development International, Skillset Scotland, The Scottish Government, SQA and TIGA.
