Bridging the gap between 'Know what' and 'Know how'



The Starter for 6 programme finds a new home!!

Over the last three years the Starter for 6 programme in Scotland (set up by NESTA) has invested in more than 80 creative businesses, as well as offering business advice to over 200 emerging entrepreneurs. After proving its success, the programme has received £1M backing from the Creative Innovation Scotland fund and will now be managed and delievered by the Cultural Enterprise office in Scotland.

Participants on the programme receive training and coaching to bid for grants of up to £10,000, alongside structured business growth and planning advice.  Improvements will include increasing the number of individuals and teams supported, a 'fast track' programme and a Starter for 6 road show of events for creative businesses across Scotland.
