Attended the STV Programme Strategy in a Digital Age event in Glasgow

This Royal Television Society Scotland event was held on the 2nd December at 9 University Avenue, Gilmorehill G12 . Hosted by Professor Christine Geraghty from the University of Glasgow and the speaker is Bob Hain, STV's Director of Broadcasting and Regulatory Affairs.

He gave an overview about the state of play in scottish tv. He discussed among others ITV and STV progamming, STV regionally produce program and local schedulling. In his presentation, he also showed a 'taster' about current ans future program in STV. The talk was followed by lively question and aswer session. Various questions were asked with topic ranging from the digital alternative to TV, advertising, regionally made program to children program.
 
Overall an interesting session which provoke more thought about the future of regional tv in UK.
