Bridging the gap between 'Know what' and 'Know how'



Attended The Future Digital Content Experience and Distribution Workshop, Dundee

This event was part of the Beacons for Innovation program carried out by the Creative Industries Knowledge Transfer Network that explores the opportunities and challenges faced by the creative industries in relations to technology focused innovation.
 
The workshop focus was on trying to identify challenges, opportunities and ways in which creative businesses and their associated industries can take advantage of new markets.
 
For the first workshop we were placed into several small groups and each asked to explore and highlight six key issues within a particular area and present the findings back to the other the attendees. For the second workshop a couple of the key issues from the first workshop were discussed and possible solutions to potential problems, as well as ways to embrace opportunity were brainstormed and again presented back to the attendees.
 
This one of several workshops being held round the country and the findings from these workshops will be published in a report in March 2010.
