Bridging the gap between 'Know what' and 'Know how'

This event will showcase some of the latest exciting developments in the GI Industry that will benefit Scotland and contribute to the overall Spatial Data Infrastructure in the broadest sense of the term.  Delegates will be updated with the latest developments with regards to the INSPIRE Directive, Ordnance Survery Agreements with the Scottish Government and present the broader picture of developments with regards to access to spatial data and GI across the UK.

 

AGI are launching an Open Competition offering a £1,000 total prize fund competition for the following two categories -

The Most Beneficial Information Service
The Most Pragmatic Enabling Idea
 

Time will be dedicated at this year's event to showcase winning entrants and present respective awards.  It is hoped that the quality of entries will be such that contributions will be made from this competition both directly and indirectly to Scotland's Spatial Data Infrastructure.
